The formworker produces, assembles, installs and disassembles wooden or metal constructions intended for formwork into which the concrete is poured, as indicated on the formwork plans. He traces, saws, adjusts and puts together wooden components, he shores up the work, so that the whole is given the required stiffness and solidity to absorb the pressure from the concrete. At many construction sites the formworker works with large prefabricated formwork panels. Once the concrete has hardened, he removes the formwork from around the concrete.
